This book is awesome! There's a lot more than just a simple drawing and coloring book here, there's education! The book starts with a timeline, description of the era, types of dinosaurs, climates, and even contributors to extinction. Then, for each drawing, there's more specific information about that particular dinosaur. It even challenged our understanding of the dilophosaurus...here we thought it was the cute, cuddly dino from the 90's movies, but instead it was a 20ft 800lbs monstrosity! As far as drawings they are cute and fun - perfect for young artists. Some steps are easier than others with some just being a single new line while others add whole arms/feet, but the breakout is logical and it worked well. I would recommend for any dino-loving artist in the making.
